Kris Reed, M.B.A., M.A.
Senior Pastor
Born & raised in Los Angeles, California Pastor Kris "PK" accepted Christ at an early age in a Sunday school environment. Like many of us, he was made to attend church in his formative years & didn’t always get it. As he grew, he focused his curiosity towards learning more about God and the Bible. What he discovered now fuels his unquenchable passion for helping people make sense of the Christian faith & apply it in a life of active service of Christ.
In June of 2019 he along with the smokin' hot love of his life wife, Carmen, & their three incredible children - daughter Kamren, son Kris II “Reec”, & daughter K’Cia (pronounced See-Uh) - accepted a call to become the Senior Pastor of College Park Church of God in Long Beach, CA. He is pastoring a refocused, vibrant and growing congregation, while continuing in his Human Resources career bi-vocationally, working at Azusa Pacific University in the Office of Human Resources.
He holds a BA in Psychology from San Diego State University, a Master’s degree in Christian Apologetics from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University, a Master's in Business Administration from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, LA and he currently is attending the University of Southern California pursuing a doctoral degree studying how to optimize personal and organizational development, growth and achievement. He is a life long learner committed to personal advancement through ongoing participation in formal and informal learning environments.
His goal simply is to be used by God to help people, help people in every way. The specific focus is on developing, learning and applying biblical principles which help us all "get better" in our faith (what we believe and how we live), our families (the spaces where we have been and are an influence), our finances (how we manage our resources), as well as our fitness (how we steward our physical health and mental wellness).

With over twenty years as a pastor to pastors as the Executive Director - Regional Pastor for the Association of the Church of God of Southern California and Nevada, in addition to more than twenty years as a senior pastor in several California churches, 'Pastor Dave' is imminently qualified and humbly serves as a valued source of fresh insight and Godly wisdom. He is a lover of God's universal church as well as people from all walks of life and helps us love them both better as an organization and as individuals.
